The "Don't Be Like Roy" Campaign is a feature-length dark comedy in which two ex-lovers, Natalie Tavern and Roy Sperry, separately struggle to overcome their issues of control. Convinced her new boyfriend is turning into Roy, Natalie starts a manipulative “campaign” to prevent him from meeting the same fate.

While Natalie is hellbent on preventing the past from repeating, Roy is trying to prevent it from disappearing; he is the last 35mm projectionist in New York City. Adding to the air of insecurity, a mysterious Masked-Bandit starts destroying public art around the city.

Using the devices of fear, control, and 35mm projection, the movie humorously explores the tension between progress and stasis. In the end, all the delusions, metaphors, and body swapping mythologies have to come to a head for an unforgettable climax about self-reflection.
